Our service focuses on companionship, routine, confidence, and independence. Steady Companions is not a medical, healthcare, nursing, personal care, disability support, or transport service.

4. Service Scope and Boundaries

Steady Companions provides companionship and light practical support only.
We do not provide:

  • personal care (including showering, toileting, dressing, or grooming)
  • clinical, nursing, or medical services
  • medication administration or supervision
  • manual handling or mobility transfers
  • transport or driving services
  • heavy domestic or cleaning services

Where a request falls outside our scope, we may respectfully decline or recommend alternative supports.

5. Availability of Services

Services are subject to availability and operational capacity.

Steady Companions operates primarily through scheduled visits and may:

  • accept or decline referrals
  • adjust availability
  • pause or discontinue services where safety or suitability concerns arise.
6. Fees and Bookings

Service fees, minimum visit times, and payment arrangements are confirmed directly with clients priorto service commencement and outlined within the Service Agreement.

Cancellation and payment terms apply as agreed at engagement.

7. Safety and Duty of Care

Steady Companions takes reasonable steps to provide services safely and respectfully.

Clients and families are responsible for providing accurate information relevant to safety and notifying Steady Companions of any changes that may affect service delivery.

Where safety risks cannot be reasonably managed, services may be modified, paused, or ended.

8. Privacy

Steady Companions respects your privacy and handles personal information in accordance with Australian privacy laws.

9. Feedback and Complaints
